Applewhite coached Colt McCoy at Texas to where he is now- in the pros. could he do the same with John Brantley?

In addition to Texas, Applewhite also served as OC with Alabama, Rice and shared the duties at Syracuse, but this will be his first OC experience with a extend offense- if he chooses to run it.

That's really the main thing that isn't certain- what offense Florida will run next year. Will they work with Brantley and tweak the offense the way Urban Meyer said he would do but was then talked out of it by Addazio? Or will they resort to Jordan Reed and Trey Burton and the old Tim Tebow spread?

But what I loved most is that Florida announced the hiring of Will Muschamp just before Newton received the Heisman.

And right after he won, but before the news could spread, Major Applewhite was listed as Will Muschamp's guy.

Look. I love Coach Meyer. But if this is the only way to get rid of Steve Addazio, then I'm all for it.

The two of them together just aren't that good.

Now, the first order of business is to teach Muschamp how to do a big ole Gator Chomp.

Next, we teach him how to beat Georgia- and then rub Mark Richt's face into it.

And finally, we teach him how to trounce FSU in his first year.

With Addazio gone, anything is possible.
