Celtics Trade

Trade Celtics Perkins Responds To Short-and Long-term -This is a shock to the people in Boston, following an out-of-no trade that sent his beloved center Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson, Oklahoma City forward Jeff Green and center Nenad Krstic. Perkins, after all, was seen as a cornerstone of the defense of Boston over the past three years, a presence that not only takes up space in the middle against weaker teams, but the guard the likes of Dwight Howard and Andrew Bynum in key matchups playoffs. The list of players the Celtics, the source says, is the anger and dismay to send Perkins to move out of town.

But there is more to this case than what is on the surface of the Celtics. For one thing, not Boston, Danny Ainge trade with an eye on the future. Celtics to start thinking about what comes after the Big Three of Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. They seem to be, by chance, to rebuild the 2007-night trade that brought Allen and Glen Davis for the Green and Delonte West, who was re-signed by the Celtics in the offseason.

And it's hard to say where the rest of this operation is going, because the Celtics were a gift from files on site by the deadline. They sent frequently injured forward Marquis Daniels to Sacramento for money, and tried to center Semih Erden and Luke Harangody in Cleveland for a second-round pick.

This means that the Celtics have to count three, three-list of locations available. Yes, the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, can sit, wait waived veteran players to shake off the next day and completely redo the house, although talented, is a scattered mess of injuries and uncertainty. Daniels would not return this season, Jermaine O'Neal had a knee surgery, Robinson will continue to record poor shot selection and the West is coming off his wrist operation.

The Celtics, according to an agent "will be the No. 1 destination for anyone who obtains a purchase." In other words, after injuries had ruined the first crack in the construction of a second to finish the season, the Celtics can once again on the march.

There seems to be one of the main alternatives to the big man on the bench: forward Troy Murphy, and when the Warriors to release him. The Celtics will also continue to facilitate the ring-Philadelphia Jason Kapono, TJ Ford, Indiana, and Mike Bibby, Atlanta changed in Washington, could end up getting buyout, too.

Perkins is hard to miss, and has caused anger and around Boston. Boston.com poll asks a lot had a good year for the Celtics won 75 percent "no" votes counted and 4200. But the core Celtics have signed only in 2012, and at that point, the team is able to remake himself about rajón point guard Rondo, and Green and '2 .012 Clippers draft pick is also part of the game and much cap space available to pursue like, or Dwight Howard.

And if losing Perkins will hurt the defense-in 38-year-old, Shaquille O'Neal will be sure to replace the starter motor to discuss what the Celtics' bench might look once the dust settled West, Von Wafer, Green, Glen Davis and Krstic, perhaps, a mixture of Bibby, Kapono, Murphy and Wallace. It is a wave of players, no team in the league can match.

The trade is dangerous, and it is too early as long as the Celtics did. But if things go as hoped that Boston would be a step that not only led the Celtics in the finals again, but put in place to build a list as they go forward.
