U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck 2:12 Thursday in the islands of Oahu and Molokai.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage. No tsunami was generated.
The earthquake, which lasted several seconds, shook houses and people all over Oahu, the skyscrapers of downtown Honolulu to the tourist area of Waikiki.
Katrina Woodcock felt shaking as he sat at his desk seven floor office building in the center. The tremor lasted about five seconds or so, and only one other person in his office, seemed an earthquake, "he said.
