The first 12 male participants on "American Idol" has given solo performances on Tuesday night to impress the new season 10 panel of judges - and a host of new potential voters online.
Fox reality show singing is done on the giant social network, has given fans the opportunity to vote for their favorites online.
According to the site of American Idol fans with a valid Facebook account can access and launch up to 50 votes in a single network. However, fans can also vote via SMS or a traditional phone call.
The best 12 guys came out in force to take votes away online. Competitor Casey Abrams was the last to go on stage after a stay in hospital this week for stomach pains. Bloggers praised his performance of "Put a spell on you" but also said Jacob Lusk and James Durbin near the head of the pack.
