Six student-athletes on The Ohio State University football team have been suspended for NCAA violations, the school said Thursday. Terrelle Pryor and company will miss the first five games of the 2011 Ohio St. Buckeyes football season.
Terrelle Pryor has total 196 Completions Passing and 298 Passing Attempts. Passing Completion % is 65.8. Total Passing Yards is 2551 and Passing Yards per Attempt is 8.6. Passing Touchdowns are 25. Overall Total Interceptions were 11 in 19 time Sacked with total -113 Sack Yard Lost. Terrelle Pryor Quarterback Rating is 196. Terrelle Pryor made Total 120 Rushing Attempts with total 639 Rushing Yards. Yards Per Rush are 5.3. Total Rusing Touchdowns are 4 having Longest Run of 66. Total 100 Yards Rushing Game are 120.
Athletic director Gene Smith said the players were trying to help their families. The idea that a Buckeye would sell a Big Ten championship ring—as Mr. Pryor did—seems unconscionable, but, says former OSU quarterback Stanley Jackson, “I know what it’s like to grow up in poverty.”
Kevin Lennon, NCAA vice president of academic and membership affairs, said the penalties were “significant” and “based on findings and information provided by the university.”
